An independent companion

Next is an independent companion for Todoist. A Todoist account and a supported iPhone or Mac are required. Features depending on Todoist’s paid plans also require the appropriate Todoist plan; Next does not unlock Todoist features.

Free core and optional Next Plus

Next’s Todoist connection, queue, For today picks, offline use, search, appearance, task capture and sharing are free. Optional Next Plus unlocks Next-owned extras, including widgets, saved project groups, My iCloud Sync, Focus filters, alternate app icons, Mac global Quick Entry and AI Agent Access on Mac. Next Plus does not include or upgrade a Todoist subscription.

Next Plus offers monthly or yearly subscriptions and a one-time Lifetime purchase. The App Store purchase sheet shows the price, currency, billing period and any trial available to your account before you confirm. A Lifetime purchase unlocks Next Plus without recurring billing; it does not purchase a Todoist plan.

Apple purchases and subscriptions

Apple handles payment and purchase administration. Subscriptions renew automatically until you cancel through your Apple account’s subscription settings. If an eligible free trial is offered, it converts to the displayed paid subscription; Apple advises cancelling at least 24 hours before the trial ends to avoid renewal. Regional cancellation rules may differ. Deleting Next or disconnecting Todoist does not cancel a subscription.

Use Restore purchases in Next with the Apple account used for the purchase. You can manage subscriptions and request refunds through Apple; applicable statutory consumer rights remain unaffected. Family Sharing is subject to Apple’s eligibility and account settings.

License and service terms

App Store installations use Apple’s Standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement, unless a different agreement is shown in the store.

Todoist’s service remains subject to Todoist’s own terms. Any TestFlight installation remains subject to Apple’s applicable beta terms; its test-purchase behavior is separate from App Store billing. This page does not replace these agreements.
